Andy is a trained Six Sigma Black Belt, utilizing a range of Lean & Six-Sigma improvement tools to increase productivity and profitability in the business. Andy joined Sellafield in 2002, concentrating on improvements full-time, moving across business units then joining and leading part of the central business improvement team composed of ca 40 full-time improvement people. Andy’s team is responsible for the delivery of improvements and enabling others to deliver improvements through training and development of the Sellafield workforce.

Margaret’s training supports the achievement of personal and organisational goals, and objectives. An author, trainer and motivational speaker, Margaret brings together her experience from both working in the Public and Private Sector, and her training in NLP, psychology, counselling and assertiveness to encourage people who deal with people to achieve maximum success.

Chris Lakin, Beyond World Class" Group Leader, ARTENIUS UK (LTD)
Chris Lakin currently leads the Artenius UK’s internal / external manufacturing improvement Beyond World Class group (BWC). He has 20 years experience mainly within the chemical industry with Robinson Brothers, ICI, DuPont , Sabanci Group and
Artenius (Europe’s Largest Polyester Manufacturer) but more recently has been working across a wider range of industries such as cement, steel, food and automotive.
For the last 8 years Chris has been involved in manufacturing improvement focusing on safety, productivity, quality and cost improvement via behavioral change using a variety of tools such as 6 Sigma, Lean, RCM and TPM. Internally this has resulted in ADVANSA receiving a number of prestigious UK Awards including the Chemical Industries Association Manufacturing Improvement award, Management Today Best Process Plant, IChemE Most Improved Process Plant and the British Safety Council Sword of Honour.
In 2005 Chris led the deployment of 6 Sigma across the Sabanci Group in Turkey as part of a major drive to improve productivity and change behaviours. This covered 12 separate businesses across a wide spectrum of industries including paper, automotive, textiles, energy and chemicals.
Chris believes that the key to changing behaviour is good, strong leadership committed to providing a vision and creating the right environment along with appropriate use of tools such as 6 Sigma or DF6S.Chris is chartered chemical engineer and 6 Sigma Master Black belt.

Paul Myerscough, Managing Director, JAMES WALKER & CO. LTD
Starting as an apprentice at BAe, Paul Myserscough has gained a background in engineering design before leaving to pursue a BA and later MSc, in business management disciplines. He has since held senior leadership roles in several technically-orientated manufacturing organisations and has a trackrecord of business improvement and change management. Paul is an Ambassador for the ManufacturingAdvisory Service (MAS) and has a passion for driving innovation in both technology and organisation. In 2006 James Walker & Co won the Business Improvement of the Year award in The ManufacturingInstitute’s annual Excellence Awards.

Implementing Change in the Automotive Industry - "Getting Management on the Bus"
Andy Ibbitson, Manager, Cost Estimating, JAGUAR LAND ROVER
Currently Program Manager for the new XK Sports car in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at the Castle Bromwich assembly plant. Andy's current remit is to seamlessly deliver all current and future planned models of the XK platform from Product Development into manufacturing at the assembly plant.
Has had a wide range of experiences with Jaguar and LandRover over the last seventeen years, which includes leading a team of specialist Cost Reduction engineers, leading the Cost Estimating function at JLR, and more recently being one of the key deliverers in a Management effectiveness programme. Andy's passion is delivering a world class product to the consumers and delivering enhanced capability and bottom line improvements.
He is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, holds an MBA and MSc from Coventry University, and is a regular speaker at the Manufacturing Institute.
